According to the 2010 census, Lickville had 55,954 inhabitants, 18,683 families and 15,158 families. The population density was 1,551.7 inhabitants per square mile (599.1/km ²). The number of housing units was 19,456, with an average density of 539.5 per square mile (208.3/km²). The ethnic composition of the city is 89.3% white, 0.4% native American, 4.1% Asian American, 2.5% African-American and 2.5% mixed or more. The number of families reached 18,683, of which 49.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them. The percentage of couples living together reached 67.9% of the total family total, 9.2% had female breadwinners without a partner, and 4.0% had male breadwinners without a partner and 18.9% were non-family. 14.0% of all families are individuals and 3.6% have only one person aged 65 and over. The average household size was 3.32 and the average family size was 2.99.
